TAROT READINGS AT SPOOKS
‘Although the common belief is that tarot cards can predict the future or reveal someone’s fortune, this is not actually true. If you are reading this, you are probably searching for a way to deal with uncertainty in your life. The tarot can be a great tool for helping ease anxiety, as well as discovering hidden truths about yourself.
Sharon does the readings here at Spooks, ’That’s what I do, I drink tea, I read tarot and I know things’’. Can often be found lurking in dark corners with a book or whippet – approach with caution – easily startled.
Sharon is a certified Biddy tarot reader, member of TABI, highly sought-after and well-respected reader at Spooks, and has been reading since the 1980’s.”
TAROT READING TIMES CAN BE DETERMINED BY APPOINTMENT AND ALSO AFTER CLOSING HOURS WHERE REQUIRED UPON BOOKING.
A TAROT READING FEE WHERE DUE IS £30
‘’At Spooks, we believe tarot can be used as a tool to enable a person to reflect on the moment. The cards will offer valuable insights, and help you understand what is needed to do in a particular situation. They will help you to connect with your inner wisdom and knowledge. The cards will give insight to past and current events and offer an insight to the best course of action based on what is known and what the cards show.
The future is not ‘set in stone’ we all have free will. The tarot merely reflects back the most likely outcome if the querent continues on their present path with their present behaviours. There are always choices to be made. The tarot strives to empower the querent, allowing them to change the present, any future plans, courses of action and behaviour. One can shift the path of their future.
Tarot consists of seventy-eight cards, which are broken into a major arcana (twenty-two cards) and a minor arcana (fifty-six cards). The major arcana, usually represents significant life events on a large scale, while the minor arcana dives into your day-to-day life. The minor arcana has four themed suits – pentacles, wands, cups and swords. Each suit is numbered 1-10, with four court cards (page, knight, queen, king).
Sharon is a member of the ‘Tarot association of the British Isles’, also commonly known as ‘TABI’. And therefore adheres to the same code of ethics. TABI’s Ethics are the following:
Readings are in confidence between the client, the reader and TABI.
Readings aim to help the client to take charge of their own life.
Clients will be treated equally and with respect.
Readers will be open-minded, honest and non-judgmental.
If appropriate, readers will suggest that clients consult a qualified professional. (e.g. health or legal professional.)
When a fee is due, the amount will be agreed prior to the reading.
If at any time a reader feels unable to complete a reading, they will withdraw tactfully.
Readings will not knowingly be given to clients aged under 18 years without permission from their parent or guardian.
Readings cannot be given about anyone other than the client, and questions relating to others (e.g. third parties, such as partners, family members, colleagues, etc.) will be re-phrased or declined.
